A little insight into Marcella Mesker, Netherlands

Marcella at the METS Club, Den Haag.

Marcella Mesker...Born 23rd May 1959 in Den Haag, Nederlands and still lives there and now a Tournament Director, TV Commentator and Mother.
Marcella was a good doubles player, her regular partner being Christianne Jollisaint. Marcella also was on the WTA Board, and reached 31 in the rankings.

Marcella was a winner of the Karen Krantzcke 'Sportsmanship' award in 1984, and her singles tour vistory was in Oklahoma in 1986.
Unfortunately, Marcella got a severe knee injury at Wimbledon, which shortened her career.
Marcella was a true Ambassador of the Sport.
